Built-in Pool Slide - Worth it or do you get bored?

I’m about to build a pool and I’m considering installing a 20-22ft long gunite or glass tile slide, so my question is has your slide lost its fun?

I can only justify the price if my family will get a lot of use of it so please let me know your thoughts and experiences! I have a 4 year old daughter that loves to swim and slide, but who doesn’t at 4?!

My pool will be built into a hill with retaining walls behind it so the slide will be able to blend into the landscape. I have attached an example photo.

We've had a pool for 3 years now. Our neighbors also have a pool but all of kids often end up at our house because we have a slide and they don't have one. Ours is used a LOT. I've even caught my husband going down the slide when he was solo swimming one day, lol

Thanks for all the input! I talked to a few more neighbors and they say the same thing! All the kids go to the house with the slide vs their own pool with no slide!

Now , I just have to decide if I want to do a shock-Crete/gunnite or an acrylic/fiberglass slide!
