It's up to you. Aesthetically, it is doing the house no favors. Structurally, it looks to be inadequate by hanging off the rake eave. But it seems to be serving someone a functional purpose, just as the other red carport is doing.

I'd keep it. It costs a lot to put it up and it's very useful. You're lucky to have one.

I would keep it also, they aren't just for cars. A table for outdoor dining, an outdoor kitchen, patio furniture with a fire table, plant potting area, or kids play area out of the sun and rain.
