We are installing a 20x40 this year in Colorado. The pool will be shotcrete with a plaster finish. I am concerned that the finish isn't going to be as smooth as I am expecting. Growing up in New York, I visited friends pools that were gunite with a finish that felt so smooth it was almost like it was polished. I can't seem to find any information on what kind of finish this was but I am afriad my new pool will not feel the same as those. thoughts?
