Windows. How big?

Dear Community,

before the meeting with the architect, my wife and I need to decide what windows we want to change.

With the default layout (the attached image below), the windows in the kitchen, hallway and living room are too small, especially considering the North-East facing side and a forest in front of the house I want to watch as a 24/7 Nature channel.

What we struggling with is to pick one of the following two options. The first option is to make 3 the same size windows (2000mm X 2125mm with 2 openable half). The second option is to make 2 big sliding windows (3250 x 2125, or even 4000x2125) and a spacing wall in between.

Although the second option is more expensive, the biggest concern is actually the spacing wall. Also, as you can see, the rooms are relatively small and I am afraid with 2 big windows it might be like an aquarium. Another small concern is the first floor where because of the safety restrictions, the biggest windows we may install are 2000mm X 2125mm so with big sliding windows on the ground floor it might be somehow unbalanced (somehow my brain demands symmetry).

What do you think?

Option 1

Option 2
