The empire has a taper that works better with the curves of the base.

The tapered shape is classic, if it has pleats even more so. You could also go hexagonal.

I think the empire is better suited to what you have going on already. I also like how the angle of the shade compliments the shape of the mirror. It may look different in person, but I do think the lamps look a bit too large for that area, if I'm being nitpicky.
