Would you consider removing the smokebush?

Well I do like the "smoke " effect it has do you think it looks disproportionate to the rest of the garden?

The rest of the garden shows a strict, formal symmetry. The smokebush stands out from this arrangement. It's a lovely plant, do you have another site for it? And this is your garden and you love the smokebush so just tell me to shove it LOL;)

I think your garden looks lovely & peaceful. The smokebush adds a nice color contrast. I see lots of summer flowering - is there anything for fall color? looks very symmetrical & i see a few evergreens in back of garden,. what do you feel is missing?

I do have Dwarf Rose of Sharon behind each bench which blooms in July and lasts a few months. Also I have sedum on the left side of garden. The Yarrow on the right side usually give me a second flowering as do the roses in the back. I am always looking to improve it without over thinking it. I am happy with it in its present state but if someone had a suggestion or two that would make it even better I am always hoping to improve the garden

I like the smoketree - is there room for another one of the same type on the other side? I think it would look better if there was a pair of them for balance. I really like how the colours are grouped together rather than all mixed up. I think that adds to the peaceful feel of the space. Look for other opportunities to reinforce that - partner the tall flowers on the left…?

How beautiful! Would wind chimes be appropriate? a bird feeder in the background?

This 14" suncatcher cross is usually placed on a Shepard hook in the garden out now for the winter

I do like the idea of wind chimes many different types. I guess any would be ok.

Have you put a wood divider in the middle of the preparations for the garden so that the trees and plants can be protected?

Not really sure what you mean by a divider, placement or reason

The garden is lovely but the smoke bush is out of place. I'd find another place for it and maybe replace with some more yucca.
