My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      This is a simple hypar roof form called the batwing. And is easy to make. And also has a history of dramatic kite like action. Famously a demo one landed on a VW bug and crushed it. So those open sky lights where needed! Not just déco.

      From the photos on the link the front supports on driveway side failed. Extreme heal-in shown. From an engineering standpoint catastrophic and not repairable. The roof would have been resting on the window frames at time of photos and would have made some very spooky haunted sounds at time after dusk and dawn from daily temp swings.
