IMO that chandelier in a 20' ceiling will do nothing and for sure not with those hideaous Edison bulbs you need a fixture that will light the space not the ceiling and that one hung low enough to do any good will swing in the space with any air movement . You have modern house why on earth that light fixture at all with that fabulous dining room fixture. I find the only lighting that works in a vey high ceilinged room is either cable lighting or just good lamps both floor and table and if you must have a center light it needs to be as fabulous as the one in your DR maybe even another one just like it since you see them together and in the staircase a smaller one or maybe 2 smaller ones hung at two levels.
