I like it!

*considering removing shutters

Love the no shutters and full length glass door!

I think your proposed changes look great! Much better without the shutters.

Why not prairie style windows? These are options in Marvin's Signature collection

I like that detail but didn’t want too much of it on one face, I may do the prairie style for some breakfast windows on the other street facing side.

I am also considering new porch lites, modern cylinder style.

I agree about grids

Another option is one horizontal muntin

Thanks everyone. I know it has been ages since your replies, but I ended up going with a 2 over 2 double hung with a single vertical division, it felt more natural with the window proportions. We love our marvin elevate windows, they really had the biggest impact on the interiors. (Both aesthetics and comfort - we can sit in our 5-window breakfast area in comfort in cold days now). For anyone who is curious we went with mostly casement/fixed and three double hung windows in the front (shown).

It also took FOREVER to find someone to install these windows, the original contractor fell through.

Next up is the roof, and it looks like we’ll be going with atlas pinnacle pristine. I’m thinking their summer storm, weathered wood, or pewter colors paired with cream colored soffit and fascia.
