My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Before and After - Cozy Classic Bathroom

Before the remodel, our clients upstairs bathroom only had a clawfoot tub, and a lack of storage. We bumped out the bathroom into the upstairs hallway, and added a walk-in shower, tall linen cabinet, and brought new life to the original clawfoot tub by reglazing, painting and updating the fixtures. We used clean and simple white subway tiles in the shower and tub surround, and classic black and white mosaic floor tile to maintain the classic style of this 1920's home.

    @arcy_gw - Yes, we do explain where we got the room (thanks for watching our video!). The upstairs hallway is very open and spacious, and did not provide as much functionality as it does by adding space to the bathroom. As for keeping the clawfoot tub... the clients absolutely love their tub, and it was a priority for them to refinish it and keep it. They certainly don't consider it a waste of space, since they enjoy using it frequently. Many people prefer a separate tub & walk-in shower, and a good soaking tub is still popular for those who use them. We're so happy that we were able to give our clients exactly everything they wanted in their new bathroom.

      "Stole some space from the landing" explains where you got the room..still a better use of space would be a traditional shower/tub combo. The claw foot tub may be a romantic favorite but in the long run is a HUGE waste of space. They could have had a shower they could turn around in. Missed opportunity all for the preservation of the home's age?

      Stunning. I was so glad to see the claw foot tub remain. It is beautfil. You made the space still feel very classical while introducing contemporary elements. Kudos.
