if the door remains as is with panes of glass I would leave the door black but if you plan on changing to a solid door then red would look nice as seen in this pic ( choose yr red carefully)

Red is classic and welcomes people warmly but if you want to show your personality choose your hearts desire blue yellow orange green etc you must live with it

If it was mine to ponder, I would remove the shutters on the first floor windows, too small to work. The second floor shutters appear to be the correct size...im just sayin!

High gloss, China Red. All the other colors -greens, blues, etc.- can be brought in to the scene with plantings. But there is something star quality about a Red Door!

Hi.....I like it just the way it is, a lovely home. Do focus on some landscaping instead of door color, maybe a
couple of Magnolia trees, some roses lining the walk, clear out some of the green bushes and reseed the lawn.
Where the pots are at the beginning of the walkway I would put to brick columns with antique lantern lights.

Agree with Matilda, door should be the crowning touch once the landscape has been updated and Florida-ized!
