Added to my stash!

A few months ago I contacted Cornerstone Hospice to see if they wanted two quilts that I had to donate. The lady I spoke with said they would love to have them, and she would have a volunteer pick them up. Turns out the volunteer, Suzanne, lives about a mile from me and is a quilter!

Suzanne recently acquired a lot of fabric from a quilt shop that closed. The man who had it practically gave it to her, and she asked if I’d like to come take a look.

I just finished washing and folding the fabrics I picked out, and it came up to 46 yards! OMG! Twenty five different fabrics. One piece is seven yards! Most are at least a yard, many are two or three yards.

The remainder that she and I didn’t want is going to be donated to the local quilt guild.

Now I can sew for a really long time!
