Debra: You know I like that clump shot of Kentucky Lucky. I also like Jitterbug blues. You lucky people that get the purple/lavender shades in your climate. Great face on Jitterbug, especially in that gorgeous color.............Sherry: Marvelous shot of Kansas Kitten. I grew that long ago, but it got rust and out it went. Don't remember the colors being as dramatic as in your picture, but again, I don't get the purples here. Jolyene Nichole is a real pretty Easter Egg pastel. So pretty..................Maryl

I have a few myself. A couple of new ones this year:

Knoll Cottage Stunt Kitty. This was shot around 8 in the morning. The color didn't hold unfortunately in our heat. But it was pretty while it did. I was told the color held better up north:

Kiss You In The Morning. I really loved the blooms. It wasn't overly vigorous so hope it gains some size this year as it's one I would hate to loose. Colorfast/sunfast.

A long bloomer for me.

I didn't mean to disappear but it has been very busy here, including getting ready for Lens transplant for me. I had the right eye Friday, left is on the 8th. So cool to have such good vision with bright whites and colors. Doing the monovision thing [right for distance, left for reading]. Right now is odd with the left eye needing a lens!

Beautiful flowers. My favorites today are Kirsten's Corsage (and I usually don't like lavender), Kiss You in the Morning (what a pretty pink!), Kara Louise, Juicy Bubble Butt (what a name) and Kansas Kitten.

I am not sure that Just Like Candy is very vigorous, but the flowers are lovely.

King Crab is the type of daylily Bob loves. This one was planted just the summer before so it's not at clump strength yet.

Please excuse the ugly dead flower behing Krakatoa Katie. Katie is usually more double than this, but it will need some time to get established. After we lost it, a friend (the only other person that had any of it) gave us back six fans. We split it into three pieces to make sure one survived. I don't think it's tender, but it doesn't like standing in water.

Peren and Nan - I don't especially care for the name Juicy Bubble Butt, but it was very late and supposed to be pink. It hasn't done particularly well here. Instead of increasing, it has lost fans.

Here's how it looked the first year I got it. Last year. temps were much cooler and it was a reddish pink.

David: I always like the color on Jubilee Ball and you grow Kiwi Magic to perfection. You enabled me to try it one year, but it just sulked in my summer heat with the pattern never really popping as yours does. Such a pretty face when it likes the climate....................Debra: I can't tell you about the base color of Kiss You In The Morning being peach or pink because honestly I don't remember one way or the other. it was just so busy in the garden I failed to get more then a few pictures and they all show that pinky base.............Maryl
