Rolf Sievers, the breeder of the new Alba hybrids from Germany, is involved in creating "Shoutwiki - Rose Biblio". There are some completed pages with references to a number of international breeders and personalities. His own hybrids are listed as well as other roses of interest. The R. Persica page is now completed and on line. It is the first documentation of which I am aware that documents the tremendous variation in R. Persica. Give it a browse. It's a wonderful piece of reference with some beautiful photography. I'm glad you will enjoy it! Mr. Sievers posts marvelous photos of his hybrids on Face Book as well as other roses. He posted this there, which is where I found it. He has a compilation of Persica flowers from all over the Middle East of the variations it expresses. Some are more rounded while others are more star-like. The central red blotches range from a clearer red to nearly black. It's very interesting!
