We're looking to buy an agent's home. It's currently on an exclusive listing soon to go public. Price is not established yet. We are pre-approved from our current lender and are in great shape for the purchase, pending the actual price of the home.

As the price has not been set yet, I don't want to waltz in and establish a price, or increase the price with our enthusiasm, but I do want to convey our interest and work towards eliminating the competition.

How do we best say “We’re buying” when the price isn’t fixed yet?
