African Violet blooming while rooting

This is a curiosity, not a question -- I've never seen an African violet bloom while rooting in water!
I repotted the plant and raised the soil level to cover a bare stem, but the stem started rotting, so I cut it off and put the whole plant in water. And this is the result. Time to put it in soil as soon as it's done!
