Wondering if anyone might know whether these doors in our Victorian house in San Francisco are likely to be original. I really want to replace it but I’m also sensitive to trying to preserve anything original. It’s not in good shape and a glass door isn’t the most practical for a front door in SF which means it’s got a plexiglass reinforcement. Would like to replace with a Victorian style solid door.

Other possible clues: There are other doors in the house that are framed in with putty. These don’t appear to be. This doorway is slightly narrower than others in the house. I may be wrong about this, but I’ve generally assumed the bigger doorways are older.
