Pendant above breakfast table

Hi there! I am having trouble picking a pendant light to go over our breakfast table. Also, with a 54” circular table, how big of a pendant should I be looking for? Attached is a pic of the table and also a pic of the pendants I have over the kitchen island (in case they should work with one another). Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Nice. To check- is the room grey, and with light woods? The company has no matching ones?

I’d go with something a little bolder, more architectural— your chairs are kinda mod so maybe something mid-century ish. The photo you shared of the pendant you’re considering reads a little more modern farmhouse to me.

A mid-century look that mirrors the shape of your table--not sure if that's a good or bad thing. White with gold interior would be a clean modern look with a touch of warmth. The gold leaf with white interior would be bolder.

It would help to see more of the space. Your picture seems to show a table on the edge of your living room, but maybe the kitchen is close by too?

Thanks everyone! The examples and measurements are super helpful! To answer a couple of questions, the wall paint is like an off-white/beige. The table is in our morning room that is off of the kitchen. Right now, it is used as a breakfast area/ playroom. Not sure how that will change over the years. More pics attached. Thank you!

I think black, to give it some presence in a light space, and to coordinate with your pendant. Beyond that, depends on what appeals to you! Here are some I could see there:

Ohhh these examples are so good! Thanks so much for taking the time! I think I would like to go in to the direction of modern or boho and less modern farmhouse. Definitely something dramatic and that makes a statement since it is so neutral right now.

Do you plan on table or floor lamps for night? at sofa area too?

I’d complement the shape of your island’s lighting, the wood in your chairs and the lightness of the table, to pull everything together.

The table feels a bit lost and an oversized fixture will ground the set and be fun.

If you like the look, search Pinterest for boho dining room light fixtures, as there are all kinds of ideas.

Definitely will look around for some boho inspired lighting options. Thanks Maureen! At night, I do plan on having a lamps or floor lamp by the sofa instead of using the overhead lights in that room. The ceiling is 10ft and to me, the table looks a bit odd without anything above it.

I would imagine so, in person, and it'd add a cozy touch [above table too].

Your table is very much in the style of a Saarinen tulip table and your chairs are reminiscent of the Werner CH24 wishbone chair. Iconic midcentury modern designs. Perhaps a Nelson saucer pendant would be a good match?
