Get a large piece of paper. Trace each frame and cut out. Play around with the very movable paper until you get an arrangement you find pleasing.

Use paper bags or butcher paper to cut out the shape of each piece. Lay them out on the floor and play with the grouping. The bottom "row" of the arrangement should be level and at about 5" above the sofa. The pictures that feel visually "heavier" like the two biggest, darkest ones, should probably go on the bottom. Hang all pieces about one hand's breadth apart. You can arrange the others around the "heavier" ones. You could also stack the two larger ones instead if you feel the wall calls for that.

Keep rearranging. Look at ideas online. See if you can find something that has similar sizes and keep experimenting. Here’s a pic that you might want to explore from Pinterest. Try putting the big pictures like this one and moving the smaller ones around it. See if that inspires you.

thanks all! I actually did cut paper in the same sizes as the frames and I still can't figure it out no matter how many different ways I arrange the paper. I've taped it to the wall too and I just can't seem to get it right. Any visual suggestions would be awesome, thanks!

Can you take a picture of them straight on, lined up in two rows with just an inch or so between them? Then we can take a shot at "arranging" them.!

I usually put all my frames/pictures on the floor and play around with them until I find an arrangement that looks balanced and has the right spacing.

I’m also suggesting place the two larger frames offset, and then build around them. It looks like all your frames are portrait , and a mixture of portrait and landscape is more pleasing to the eye IMO. See image attached.
I also believe your frames may be too small for an area behind a sofa. A 5x7 frame is quite a small frame to hang on a wall.

This photo below I believe shows what I was referring to with scale of frames over a large piece of furniture like a sofa. You need a lot of frames to fill the space, and then I think it just looks too busy.

I really dislike gallery walls so IMO a large single piece above the sofa and those hung in a row like a gallery in hallway so I have worked in galleries and never hung art in this way.

If you go for a single piece of art instead of a gallery, consider putting foot stands on the backs of the smaller pieces and using them on table tops, buffets, consoles throughout the home. Hang the two larger ones together in your own bedroom

The problem is having an arrangement that balances with couch. Because there are a few quite small ones, they have to be close together and may not fill up the wall enough. Below are fairly close to what you have and can’t see being over a couch, but on a smaller wall in a hallway for example.
