You haven't decorated yet. You don't have anything on your counters really. It'll warm right up when you personalize it with your stuff.

Are the counters on the left hand side really going to be bare?

Very nice kitchen, I really like your table and chairs. Place a pretty vase of colorful flowers on the tabe and it would be perfect.

The light fixture just needs to have a little contrast to stand off the windows. I don't think more wood paneling is the ticket here the ceiling is already tongue and groove I would let that stand out as the feature and just paint the back wall. I would probably do dark bronze or black cabinet hardware.

That's a pretty sweet kitchen you got there. Yellow! :)

I'd look at the schoolhouse type shades at Rejuvenation. Go with brass or chrome (or nickel) for hardware and fixtures. I think black or ORB would be too modern.

Roman shades on the windows would be a good place for more color.
