I have 9 more inches of snow in my backyard…..had to shovel paths for my shortlegged dogs…..none of us are happy right now, spring fever has set in already

It has been raining here since last night but they said before this system moves out we may got a mix of snow/ice. I have no desire to skate down the driveway.

We are supposed to get some freezing rain tonight. Praying it won't be much. It has poured rain all day today and yesterday. Creeks are flooding.

We've got 6 inches of snow over a thin layer of ice. Dropping down to the single digits over night and no real warm up until Monday...............Brad: My thoughts are with you on the ice. It can do serious damage to everything if it gets thick enough. I say this from experience..........They are predicting another arctic system to come through around next week-end. I'm really not fond of February..............Maryl

Julia, now that was funny! So many of you have snow and ice. We dodged a real sticky situation with an ice storm that cut off just above us. My sister was not as fortunate and was out of power for three days. Maryl, I hope your winter weather does not hit you as hard as last year when you lost so many plants.

The southern half of our town of Wilmore got no ice; the only ice was what froze from the rain which was minimal. Lexington got minimal ice. So all was so much better than predicted here. Glad it was similar for you Kate.

We only got rain thank goodness. No snow or ice at all.
