Very nice What temperature do you heat your garage to for good tree health.

Steve, I don't let the garage go any lower than 45ºF with an average high of maybe 60º. Light level is fairly low. I get just a bit of leaf drop, but nothing like if I brought them indoors.

If it was just citrus in there, it could go lower, but I also have mangoes and plumeria which would start to suffer in the upper 30s.

Ken, I picked the last Dekopon too. Hopefully they will be tastier next season. I have some Meyers ripening and some Citrangequats that are slowly getting bigger. Persian lime is starting to bloom. That's about all. Oh the Panzerella orange is covered in buds as well.

Dave, too bad the mandarin season ends now. I want a more extended season, seriously hoping a researcher crosses a later season citrus like valencia orange. I've got lots of citrus flowers and tiny fruitlets. My Shiranui has flowers, hopefully, get some fruit next season.

Ken, you should get Gold Nugget then. Late season and it holds on the tree for a while.

Dave- I tried to find a golden nugget except big potted ones (not paying $140+ to get a 3 gallon), they've been out of stock during these pandemic years (I think everyone adopted dogs, cats, and citrus plants). I did get lucky to Shasta gold which doesn't hold into May like the nugget, but into April (though they said, best through March.. No blossoms on that guy yet. That said, winter space is always at a premium, so I need to let some of my existing taste experiments fruit before I discard some and add new ones, except maybe another blood (either a clementine, tangor (the Amoa), or the valentine pom).

You're too funny! I still have a small tree loaded with the Clem-Yuz hybrid. But they're seedy and a bit tart (would make a good ade with a LOT of squeezing). So I'll probably get rid of that plant this Spring. I'm with you, plenty other plants to raise up to get huge.

I have young plants of the following for which I'm still waiting on first fruit: Sugar Belle, Shasta Gold, Ponzerella Orange, Mandarinquat, Cara Cara, and Flame Grapefruit.
