Currently using a side sprayer, which I most often use for rinsing hand washed containers by holding them upside down and spraying up into them (faster than filling & dumping).

To do this, I need the ability to turn the spray off quickly with the hand holding the sprayer so I don't spray myself in the face between items. However, one thing I don't like is that the faucet continues to flow when the sprayer is off. Thinking of switching to pull-down, if I can shut the flow off completely without reaching for the main control handle.

Do most pull-down faucets have an off switch on the spray head, or merely a pause button that must be held in to stop the flow?
