is that light fixture already installed or is that just an idea as well? Its much too high and should be hanging lower reflected in the mirror. sconces arent really needed and because you like modern, they may seem dwarfed by the mirror unless you go black/gold and large.

personally, you would be far better off with two prints than a mirror. and a properly scaled fixture

Beautiful. You are right the light fixture is too high but with kids climbing...etc this is a safer temporary fix. Do you think I can keep the mirror as it brings so much light and reflects the lively outside?

I just moved your current dining fixture to the entry. If the mirror brings light you need, I would consider something with a bit more of a frame to it. But in reality I dont see the light it adds when I look at the picture. You could also change the trim out on those two recessed lights to eyeballs that swivel so you could wash the wall and art with light, the light walls would help reflect that light.

if you do put a light in the hall I would use the can that is further from the door and hang the fixture there.

Yes, I am now considering moving the dinningroom fixture to the can furthest from the front door.

I will keep the mirror and forget the sconces idea and buy a new fixture ( how low should it be?) That reflects in the mirror.

Currently I have the same light fixture in the livingroom/tvroom which I could keep but I will need a coordinating new dinningroom fixture. I can show you a photo if u like.

The light fixture you have and the ones I posted all work together. standard is about 30 inches off the top of the table.

consider painting your mirror frame black maybe. it needs more presence in the room or have a frame built for it.

Maybe a group of three mirrors with more detail? Feels a little less naked than the large rectangle. A large circle shape mirror could break up the rectangular table (sofa, window, room shape) and combine better with your round fixture. You could flank it with modern sconces, or plant on one side and two pictures hung horizontally one above the other on the other side.

I could keep the large fig tree in one corner and the mirror as I like it's simple lines. I love the idea of hanging two pictures hung horizontally one above the other on the other side like hu818472722 suggested. It seems like the only option if I keep the mirror. 

RL Relocation LLC, I will change the light fixture to a different lower one above table 30 inches. Could you help me choose a more suitable option and better price $300/$400 maybe? Pls. 

I will post picture of the greatroom with all fixtures ...etc.

Do a quick google search for modern brass and black fixtures. How long and wide is your table?Also how long is that mirror?
