Not crazy about that veining. MSI makes a Cal Laza which is more subtle. It's pretty installed. Quartz is tough. People love it or hate it.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting doesn't super white fall under the umbrella of Quartzite? I know both are natural stones and quartzite is harder etc.... but I have quartzite in my kitchen and it is sealed but I've seen some minor issues with water stains etc.. I don't have those issues with my true granite.

Quartz is a great material for many applications, the people here that dismiss that and call it plastic are being small minded. Having said that, you would regret buying that quartz, its not great, and you would see it in everyones faces that see it.Quartz comes in many colors and patterns, for the most part any quartz that tries to mimic marble falls woefully short. Thats just the fact of the matter. You are looking for a veined material for your kitchen so the next logical step is natural stone. Keep in mind that any natural stone with beautiful veining will be expensive which you found out already since you went with an inexpensive quartz. You might want to rethink the veining thing and be open minded for another look for your counter. Good luck and I hope you get some good ideas here.

Thank you. We will not be going with calacatta sierra. Patricia, I do love the super white thank you for that idea. M Riz, the more I look at the quartz counter tops with veining, I agree. We are thinking of going with something simpler like a Carrara. Appreciate all the help.

Have you looked at MSI Calacatta Laza? I think it’s a lot less crazy looking if you’re wanting to do veins. More subtle.

kR yes we have thank you. We were trying to avoid the upgrade cost of laza, but do really like the look!
