Remove the tables and make sure the headboard is centered on the wall, the rug adjusted as needed. Hang the dog photos above the headboard.

If you don't need ALL drawers, perhaps this metalwork nightstand from West Elm. West Elm had several that might go well with your room. It looks like you don't have a lot of space for sidetables, and this is only 16 x 16 x 24 high. You might want to consider wall sconces rather than table lamps for the bedside tables.
