Very difficult when there are so many possibilities but your first does more resemble a S and S sport. Titanic or any of the other myriad from it or something from completely different lineage. It looks too shiny to be Erie Magic.

Thank you, Peren! That vendor is currently selling Sum of All at the same price I paid for FWS. Last year, I believe that vendor was briefly selling Lady Isobel Barnett, too. The vendor said that plants were located on the property based on price. If we're right about this being a S&S lineage plant, I am in trouble. The vendor sent me a replacement plant for FWS, and it was another of the same NOID. I need a bigger yard!

Steve, I have no FWS to compare it to, lol. That said, the largest of the leaves on that little NOID#1 are larger than my palm, nearly the size of my whole hand. The leaves are bigger than my first year Wu La La had. As I know you love movie quotes, "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat."

Lady Isobel Barnett petioles are purported to have red spotting at the base. If it /they did not then Sum of All is more likely. Lol yes you will need a bigger yard or boat!

If Sum of All or Titantic, these UTOG NOID#1 could be 36 in tall and 72 in wide!
To be honest, this NOID actually has turned me off shopping for hostas. As pretty as it is, I have no idea how to plan my garden with it in it. I am also wary of future NOIDs. It is all for the best, in a way, as I needed to stop buying.

I bought this in late summer from homestead perennials, but the tag was lost and she couldn't recall what it is. Bought it anyway because I like it. It seems like it will be a small, and the edge is a bit misted. Any ideas? Otherwise I will try to get better photos when I have a full year with it.

Sorry I'm no help at any NOID's but I do have several myself. I think most of them are seedlings, sports or reversions I have lost track of over the years.

I do have a couple that were purchased years ago but look to be quite common with no outstanding characteristics. The first I always thought Royal Standard but now I see it has lavender flowers not white. The second possibly Gold Edger?

Erin yours has the shiny leaves that remind me of Dixie Chick which it is not but something with Shining Tot, Invincible or rupifraga lineage perhaps. It is a beauty.

Debra, your Snow Lines reminds me of Patriot's Fire. It has a variable distinctive dark green line between the middle and the edges. There's a look-a-like, but I forget the name.

Your Twilight reminds me of Olive Bailey Langdon but the leaves aren't round enough.

Erin - that's a great looking Hosta. I see why you picked it up as an unknown. Should be an easier one to figure out. Do you know if it is a recent one or an oldie? By the looks it isn't that old.

Good possibility Steve. Moonlight is the look alike.

Thanks everyone….. I know my little “Snow Lines” resembles Moonlight and Patriot’s Fire, but it’s actually quite a small hosta. Here’s a picture of it next to Chartreuse Wiggles. It’s quite small:

It is a pretty good sized hosta and I have had it a long time. It does have a glaucous underside.

Debra, could your posible Twilight be Red Hot Poker? Does it have Lavender flowers on red scapes?

Thank you for the suggestions. I am going to keep them in mind and compare during this season and take pics of blooms, etc. I would guess it's a more recent introduction. I honestly thought it would be easier to Identify because it's a little different, but oh well, I guess I don't need a name to enjoy it :) . I love the hosta variety at homestead perennials- she often has a lot of the newer introductions and it is only 10 minutes from my house. But she doesn't tend to label her plants well, which drives me a little crazy to occasionally have to rely on my knowledge or her memory for an ID. Still..... Everything I've purchased there has grown fast and is healthy, and she has a lot of stuff I can't find anywhere else without paying for shipping, plus amazingly so far she has never been wrong on an ID she has given me (that I know of).

hosta_maker I was hoping you would chime in. I looked at LS Zinger and ruled it out because it had no shine or slight rippling as Erin's does. I thought this would be an easy one!

Alakazaam was my initial impression but doesn't have the misty edges to my knowledge.

I think you are probably correct, Hosta maker, as I do see it on her website. Or at least I hope you are correct since it looks like a great hosta that I would be happy to have. As for the shine vs no shine.... I guess I will just have to wait impatiently it grows up. Thank you for everyone's help!
