My experience with hot tubs is that you have to keep them heated and dump in chemicals practically daily. We emptied ours years ago. Even that was expensive as our sewer bill soared.

Thanks for your perspective Sigrid. I’m aware of the costs and maintenance factors and okay with them. Did you have a cedar hot tub or a regular one?

I know this is an old thread but we've had a wonderful experience with Maine Cedar Hot Tubs. Chemical usage is very low if you add an ionizer. It's beautiful. wish we'd done it years ago.
