IMO you need to share a budget but in my head a complete gut job would be what I would save for Please do not add wood look tile to this mess.

I would start with the glass block and the decorative glass (window? back-lit art piece?). Neither of these pieces compliment the tile or enhance the look of the room. As far as the glass block, you may be able to install a niche for plants using a coordinating small scale tile on the bath side, or do the niche on the shower side for products, but then you will need to decide on attractive finish for the bath side. Paint a warm dark color to give the room a cozier vibe. Do you use or like the tub? If not then a complete gut job, and then you can address the glass block issue more thoroughly.

Your bathroom is very busy and outdated. Small improvements will not change this fact so save your money till you are able to gut it and start over.
