This article cracked me up. I'm sure my remodeled (in 2004) kitchen would offend this author, but I still found it funny. Although in #39 he/she says no marble and then contradicts himself/herself in #37.

Not sure what kind of counter would make this author happy. Our (likely out of date) granite is from 2004, and is in pristine condition; it is a workhorse. Hubby talks about replacing it, but I'm a firm no. Not putting new counters on almost 20 year old cabinets. Plus we have miles of counters, it would cost a fortune and we need a new roof.... :)
