I purchased some Black Gold years ago in a big box store sort of cheap and they turned out to be Gold Flame. I picked out the ones with some extra yellow down the middle of the leaf. I have one that I think is nicer then Lillian Ture have similar coloration.

Extra strip similar to Lillian True or maybe another Gold Flame standard in the making.

This is pup from above Sans. It grows much larger with a leaf almost 40 inches.

That first Gold Flame is great! I like that last tall one too; it's interesting that one so tall pupped out from a shorter plant. I think part of what I really like about Lillian True and Black Gold are the very dark green color, and the lack of banding.
