Have you already checked to see if a pool will even fit the space . IMO a to scale plan of the whole area and the garage too is needed Have you nderstood garages are not usually allowed to be living space without a huge amount of work not trying to be negative but permits will be needed so you might as well be prepared . Wher e I live there needs to be a certain size walkway all around the pool and the pool needs to be fenced

If a guest house or rental is in the equation, I would probably stay away from the kitchen windows as that negates the privacy for the hot tub. I would probably widen the bi-folds a bit to meet up with the patio design, not be held to a symmetrical garage door infill, and reduce the closet all so you have more flexibility in opportunities for a layout (like an island and only a back wall of kitchen). Also surprised that the toilet can be placed farther from the house and hopefully your sanitary line doesn't come too close to the pool.

Here are just a couple rough ideas to illustrate, don't know hard points but glean out opportunities if you find any from these. First version started by focusing in on the desire of a "mini bar area" by opening up an island to patio living and visually closing off to the hot tub (transom windows along the side wall), but didn't address storage or tv. Second one revised the first by using a tv as part of outdoor living and bringing in some rental function.

Hi There! Wow! I love what you did here - especially the third option with the island and that little office nook! WOnderful ideas and suggestions. We decided on getting a little tuff shed on the other side of the house for storage - so this is looking more along what i'm feeling for the space. love how open it is. Thank you!
