We actually chose a granite composite sink that matched the countertops. Blanco & Kohler have excellent versions of these sinks that we use often, and we always put a stainless-steel grid at the bottom. These sinks are very durable and give a higher end, custom look than stainless does. We have done stainless sinks with gold accents in the past, but always favor the look of matching the sink to the countertop so it isn't showcased.
