• If the pendant would be hung in one of two positions, you could install a monopoint in each position, attach the pendant to a pendant adapter, and move the pendant adapter back and forth between the two monopoints.
• If the pendant would be hung in range of positions, you could install a trackand electrical feed, attach the pendant to a pendant adapter, and move the pendant adapter anywhere along the track.

However, it doesn't appear these solutions are very convenient as you'd have to get to the ceiling everytime you wanted to move the pendant.

If I had a track and electrical feed, couldn't I just pull the pendant along the track if I wanted to move it, without going up to the ceiling? My parents' light just slid along a track.

Dunno. The installation instructions show that this pendant adapter has a latch which I assume has to be released to move the adapter.

The Juno pendant adapter can support 15 lbs and the Commerical Electric pendant adapter can support 5 lbs. You aren't going to want to pull on those from below.
