I am building a house with a dormer over the island. The ceiling height goes up to 19ft. I am trying to find a pendant light that will drop 12-13 feet so the lights would be 3-4 feet over the island. We found a cool pendant and thought it could be modified, but no.. it would hang 7 feet over the island which I think would silly. Should I just bail on the pendants? I really think the space needs something.. the last photo is another idea I’m toying with.
