I'd consider a cascading style fixture or possibly multiples set at different heights. Something like these, perhaps:

There are a few ways to look at this, I would guess about 36" would work. We need style help. this is a cool curved wall I'm inclined to go round or linear. But style does matter here.

Thanks. For all this. I'm still am not sure how low lighting should hang. Should it go to the closer to bottom of the curve? With a little showing from the ground floor?
