We are putting in a new kitchen at a cottage . We are building a large 461/2x118 island out of white oak and staining it.

I’m looking for a granite for the island that is different than the periphery . We are considering calacutta gold for the perimeter with chantilly lace cabinets . Als being considered is leathered titanium for the island . Is this too much of a contrast ?
