A layout like this would work for a large wall. The bookcases are 96" tall.

Looks great as is. Not even sure you need the wall decor - seems a bit distracting. If anything, I'd place coordinating artwork instead.

I think it looks good the way it is but if you could post a picture of the whole wall it would help. I have 12ft ceilings in my home also and struggle with this as well.

Yes it is thanks. I don’t think you need anything else on that wall above the tv. Looks good to me. Maybe as others have suggested hang the tv on the wall but make sure not too high.

I would remove existing décor and go with wall art.

Agree, dislike tv wall mounts. Perhaps, paint wall few shades darker to decrease contrast with tv screen.

I think you have it done with just the right amount of decoration and the plant works to ground the objects. I also like the TV on the console. Enjoy!

I would mount the tv on the wall. It looks better, and it's actually more enjoyable to watch.

What may be botherng you may be the lack of symmetry on this focal wall. The look is getting ”heavy” on the left hand side with the bigger item on the wall along with the lamp and its table. You may want to try rearranging decor and furniture to look balanced/ equal on each side of the TV. Just a thought.

Revisit the comments from BeverlyFLADeziner. Her suggestion is a good idea to fill the space and to provide symmetry.
