Some tidbits from this Ideabook include:
Fewer granite countertops and more weathered wood ones.
Fewer dark floors and more light colored ones. (A mid-tone floor color is the easiest to keep clean, however.)
No neon colors. Natural neutrals such as sisal, instead.

From reading Houzz Design Dilemmas, it seems that a shower in the master bath is becoming more popular than a huge jetted tub.
Putting a large screen television above the fireplace is not as common as it was last year, in favor of putting it above a console (for storage of cords and cables).
Downsizing is discussed very often.
