ive heard of peeps buying flats.. and selling them individually .. never heard of it being called a coop ... the usual issue is having the wholesale license to buy from the tc lab ....

it used to be something local clubs would do among themselves ...

Thanks Ken. A dozen or so years ago was when the labs started selling full flats of tissue cultures retail directly from them. I used to get tons of them through that Yahoo plant co-op group. They were about half the price that they sell them individually today.

Peoria Illinois has the Central Illinois Hosta Society but I am not an in person club type member. They have 200 members.

A decade ago the woman I was referring to used to be on Dave's Garden when that was the online place to be for Hosta talk and swaps.
