Thank you for posting this video, Hoang, and thank you mamaham for alerting me of it . Your Silas looks beautiful! I have one growing too and was wondering if anyone had blooms yet. So far the foliage has been very healthy and is so attractive! I’m expecting buds any day now. This is the first rose I have ever bought as a new release and there is something really exciting about not having any performance expectations.

Diane, it's doing great, it already show signs that it's gotta be a lot bigger than last year, i'll post videos of it for sure when it blooms

Love your posts and videos, Hoang! I have been wanting a DA rose for a long time, but haven't been able to decide on one or have had the confidence that I can grow from a bare root. Then yesterday, I was in my local nursery and there were a few DA roses! They had one that was on my favorites list, so I bought it. Teasing Georgia. I only have room for one climbing rose and maybe one shrub rose. So I am going to try the teasing georgia on my fence. I am both excited and nervous!!! Anyways, your love for roses inspired me to give it a try!

Hoang Ton or anyone: When is the best time to order David Austin's new releases? A friend nearby tried to order Silas Marner and The Counntry Parson, but both were sold out. Since I'm in zone 5a, I want own-root roses in a quart, but I'm not sure when to pre-order for best availability from David Austin. Thanks for the info.

strawchicago, i normally order as soon as they allow, and they nromally release it around December of each year

If you get their emails, they send a notice when they are available. I just got an email on March 18 saying that they are about to stop shipping for the season.
