I really want a pool. We’ve got two small kids and I grew up with a pool. I want a small pool no bigger than 9x18 or 10x20ish. I priced out inground pools and the prefab concrete pools from Soake and plungie and even the shipping container pools. These cost around 45,000 when all is said and done. Which is a lot for us. We are redoing our whole house. I was looking at above ground pools like doughboy, that you can semi bury. And I thought, that’s great, when all is said and done, we could install one for under 20,000 and get 20 years out of it. Well my husband says no, he does not like the look of a round or oval pool, he wants a rectangular one. He’s fine with a rectangular Intex with a deck built around it, but I don’t want to build a deck around a pool that will probably only last a few seasons. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone have a rectangular above ground pool?
