Following. I'm considering perennials too, but my concern is pilling. I think it really is very stain resistant. I poured wine on a sample and left it overnight. Came right out.

That is great! What did you wash it with? I put chocolate on a sample and was able to get it out with dish soap and water.
I didn’t think about pilling, but that is a good point.

Just water! A lot came out with a wet a paper towel. Then I stuck it under the faucet for an instant and the rest rinsed out. Cold water. Not that we can stick our sofas under a faucet! Maybe the oil in chocolate makes it adhere. Wine didn't even sink in.

Looks like you need to expect pilling.
