Am considering hanging a second mirror in front of the existing one. Is that silly?

So I'm now considering pulling out the sliding mirrors altogether and propping a new mirror on the ledge above the sink. Would that work?

Hang new mirror in front of the window and forget the medicine cabinet altogether

Mark the place where your partner's eyes and top of head hit the wall with a couple pieces of blue tape. With more blue tape, outline a rectangle where you'd like the mirror to go. Then take a photo similar to the last one that shows the whole wall, window included.

Imagine the lights and medicine cabinet were never there. Then what would you really, really like? How about putting in a new window that is just over the toilet?

You can install a recessed medicine cabinet in the wall perpendicular to the window.

Mirror attached to the right wall, on an arm - gooseneck, swinging, extension. Lots of options. By far the easiest solution. Plus you can get a magnifying mirror on one side, which is practical.
