The ceiling and ship lap wall are the only thing that will be in that room near the agreeable gray cabinets.

Because we are renovating this room, I Do not have any pictures yet with the cabinets installed. Here are some photos. You can see my wood floors, I’d say they are traditional golden oak. The counters will be invernest frost by cambria . The ”under construction” photo is facing the alabaster shiplap wall, and ceiling. appreciate yiur feedback!

I originally was going to try to keep the alabaster wall and ceiling, i actually considered lightening agreeable gray for the small amount of walls left in the room. Now im thinking i may need to repaint everytbing, start over !

We used agreeable gray throughout the house with SW White Tail on the accent walls, shiplap and trim. My cabinets are a light gray.

I have Agreeable Gray walls with Alabaster trim. It’s a lovely combination. i also have rooms with Alabaster walls/Alabaster trim. At my daughters home we did Alabster walls/Extra White trim. i like all of these combinations. My kitchen has creamy cabinets with most of the room Collonade gray but adjoining walls with Agreeable Gray. Agreeable Gray is a great color. We like it so much we now use it in all of our rental properties.

Get some samplize samples and see how it looks in your light.

do you mind if i pick your brain? if you had agreeable gray cabinets, would you do agreeable gray walls too? or alabaster?

I will gladly offer my opinion but it would be biased with my personal tastes. I would also need more information as choosing color should relate to the big picture and the style you are going for. What rooms are adjacent to the kitchen? What is your cabinet layout and door style? Will you have a backsplash? How much lighting will you have? Where does the shiplap wall fall in the layout?

Agreeable gray walls and cabinets will create a subdued mood with the cabinets receding into the background. Will the shiplap still be alabaster? Trim? Will you have crown? It could look very nice if you have enough whites throughout to bounce light. I tend to like whites and would likely not do gray cabinets in my kitchen but still appreciate it done well in other homes. The monochromatic look can look good with your other style choices, but so would the contrast created by the alabaster walls which will brighten your space.

This photo has Agreeable gray cabinets on the perimeter. They do not mention the shade of white on the walls but it appears to lean warm. The backsplash adds a reflective quality.

Ultimately, this really needs to be what feels right to you in your space and how the colors look in YOUR light on each wall. Please get sample boards as paint is an expensive decision. What looks good in pictures can look so different in your home. I sampled so many grays and whites prior to choosing mine.

Is the 5th picture the tile backsplash you've chosen? If so, you want to be sure the white goes with your counter white.

its snow white by riad. it seemed to go with the samoles. but now yiu have me thinking. i have the sample of counter and piece of tile

right now , almost impossible. is not a big kitchen, this photo is what uiu will look at as yiu walk in, we are putting a built in bench on the wall, then long narrow table. the kitchen will be ”galley style” so cabinets with open counter to the right , then refrigerator. Stove to the left, then cabinets and sink under window, disheasher, then door to yard,

not sure if thsts even something that helps you?!

This is the room right before it, you will walk into the kichen from. storing a portion of our new babinets!
