My 20+ year old Murray might be on its last legs :-( I've done all of my own maintenance and repairs, but now the engine is locked up and I'm struggling to get it going. If I can't, then it's not financially wise to buy a new motor! I'll be shopping for a new mower.

In looking online, I've discovered that robotic mowers really aren't much more expensive than a regular mower. But with no gas, oil, and little maintenance, it could actually be a better long term investment! Especially considering that it saves me about 5-6 hours of work each week :-O

I'd still have to weedeat, of course, but that's more like 10 minutes.

Any thoughts? Quality of the cut, longevity of the mower, ease of maintenance?
