What is the primary space going to be used for ?IMO a work office and kids play space are not very compatible .Do you both work from home or is this more just a home office ? From what I can see this is a busy spot for an office since it seems to be a pass trhough for lots of things. Maybe post a to scale floor plan of the whole living space on the main level so we can see where this is in the house the to scale will aslo help with furniture in the "office " spac e

You could try placing both desks facing one another in the middle of the room and a craft table against the wall. It kind of depends on if you want to look at a wall when you work. Here are some ideas from a few of our designs that might help you more.

@Pamela Harvey Interiors thank you! I think I am leaning toward two desks facing wall (1st photo is most similar). I am probably going to eliminate craft table. Currently, and last home owners, had desk against wall next to built-in book case, but I feel like that doesn't use up the space well.

If yu decide kids craft table I wouldn’t do hi top height. Regular table and chairs is best hi top Get uncomfortable after awhile
