Is the light colored quilted look fabric what you are using? If so no piping I love piping on a simple sofa when the faric is darker . plain and adding white piping just makes it look better.I think the quilted look farbric is not one I would add piping to.

I think you are referring to the Window Quilt shade. We have a southern exposure on that window. No, I am looking at light cream or tan textured fabrics.

It might be a personal preference, but I prefer no piping / weltless on that style of sofa. In general I prefer no piping on sofas with modern or contemporary lines to keep the look clean.

BTW try solar shades on that window control heat and UV but allow the view .

We installed these 28 years ago. I hate them and my husband loves them. They really do keep our heating and cooling bills down, however ………. I tell him they are so ugly!

No welting and decide if you want to change out the legs on the sofa and raise it a bit. I love the low profile, but I cannot get out of them anymore.
