The granite pictured here is Colonial Gold.

I really think the granite color accents the cabinets perfectly. Can you tell me the width between the island and sink area.

Thank you. There are some browns in the granite that also pick up the color of the floors pretty well. The space between the island and and sink is 42".

Can you please share where you purchased the pendants and type of finish? Thank you.

These don't look like the colonial gold I see everywhere else and not like the colonial gold we just picked out.

It could be lighting in the picture making it look different. You are seeing it at an angle. We sourced it from Classic Granite and Marble. If you are in the Baltimore -DC market, they are simply the best.

Umpa - That cook top is indeed a down draft unit. It is a Jen Air cook top.

Thank you. I have an 8 year old Jen Air and am unhappy with it. The down draft sucks away the flame and is not great. Wondering if the newerones are better.

Cabinets and Designs - Thank you! It really came out nicely and plays off the colors of the flooring and cabinetry very well.

Umpa - That is a common criticism of the down draft cook tops, you are fighting gravity and thermodynamics. If you have room for one of the pop-up models, they are somewhat more effective. Unfortunately, sometimes the kitchen design does not always allow for a range hood.

Thanks for your responce. Its too expensive a deal to redesign my kitchen so I'm stuck with this.
