I bought quicksilver climbing rose from antique rose last year and put it in a wine barrel. It's fine but it has no scent so far but more importantly stingy bloomer because I live in a foggy area and she needs sun more than i think. I don't mind once bloomers but then I'd like to have scent so.... I'd like to keep the wine barrel but I do have a large plastic pot I can put it in if desired. She has 2 very long canes that can be trimmed down. Free. Pickup only.
